Well, at least Bata’s shoes are not that expensive, so even if it last us for a few months, it is still ok.
Remember I bought crocs for E? It lasted him nearly 4 months (only!). About the same as those sandals I bought from BATA. The sole is already worn out. For crocs, once the sole is worn out, it becomes slippery. Plus, E tends to drag his feet when walking, that speed up the wear and tear.
So, for the kiddos, back to “Buy And Throw Away”! But hei, at least, I can get 5 pairs of shoes under $85 when I shop from there! (compared to only 2 if I buy from crocs that last for the same duration.) Sigh… why all their shoes have to tear at the same time?!
These to replace…
these…
For my crocs, I am happy with it. I don’t drag my feet the way E does, so it is still pretty alright. And it is VERY COMFORTABLE. Think SZ mentioned about smells on vinyl shoes. Actually one of crocs’ feature is: odour prevention. It really doesn’t smell at all! But, I still have 2 problems with my crocs: (1) I tend to trip when walking on certain kind of floorings. (2) My toes will start to cramp after walking for about 2 to 3 hours on crocs. Wonder if other users have the same problem?
Verdict:::
Crocs for the little ones, esp E? - No. For Z, we are blessed with a pair of pre-love crocs which has been worn for less than 5 times, so it still look brand new. Shall see if it will be ok for her.
Crocs for me? – Yes, despite the 2 problems I have with it, I will still buy again cause it is really very comfortable.
Yes, I tend to trip too when wearing Croc. Think the shoe is too bulky and we did not lift up our foot completely while walking. Despite all this, I am still wearing one.
