crocs for him and me

17 03 2008

Justification for him:

  • Mr E been ‘consuming’ at least 3 pairs of $20 sandals every year. Not because he outgrow them, but usually because of wear and tear.
  • My friend’s crocs lasted him 1 year before it became slippery, and he uses it daily. It will be worth it if it is really durable.

Justificaition for me:

  • My cheapo $20 shoe was torn after wearing it for less than 5 times! Not forgetting a few others that also broke only within a few wears.  Simply no durability
  • I find myself wearing flats more now.
  • At $48.10, thought it is pretty worth it for an adult shoe IF it last.
  • Not forgetting that it is very comfortable

So, here it is, one for him, (he wants the bright orange! So glaring!)

Crocs for Mr E

and one for me. (but I got a chocolate color, can’t find the picture on web)

Yes, it’s definitely worth the investment. We are wearing our 2nd ‘generation’ of crocs now and we love it! Most of all, they comfy, esp when you are out walking/shopping!!! ;)

uh GabbyMomma, that’s a great testimony. Honestly, I didn’t like the design when it first came out. kind of.. eh… you know why right?!

Plus attaching those pretty clips certainly make wearing croc look trendier. If not for the newer design and clips, I think I still won’t be wearing one.

BATA = Buy And Throw Away? « Ezmum’s Unforgettables….

[...] I bought crocs for E?  It lasted him nearly 4 months (only!).  About the same as those sandals I bought from BATA.  [...]
