Charlotte Mason – A must read even for non-homeschoolers

I’m currently reading Charlotte Mason’s philosophy translated into modern english via this website:

I’m only at Volume 1, Chapter 2, and I have already learnt so so so much from her. 

Her writings are really not just for homeschoolers, but for every single parent who wants to enjoy their children and want to know better ways to nurturing them.

The translation to modern English has certainly make reading easier.

Highly recommended!

What can we do about those broken down printers, telephones, radios, etc?

Give it to the child (if he is interested), and let him explore.

I told Mr E that he can go ahead to use the screw drivers to rip open the entire printer.  He really loves it and been meddling with it nearly everyday.(erm, washing machines, fridge, etc are not included in the list.  And, do remove the power cable if the child is not trained about electrical safety.)
