Monkey see monkey do

27 02 2008

This is something cute from Zoe, and how I wish it could be recorded.

What  happened is this:  It is our house-rule that before the children are allowed to watch TV, they have to tidy up the toys, books, stationary, etc  I’m so sick and tired of having to remind them “this not pack, that not pack…”.

Today, I told the children that the moment I spot any things being left out, TV time will be forfeited for the day.  And true enough, I spotted 2 items and told the children, “Ok, no TV for today”.

That sent Mr E wailing and crying.  Here’s the cute moment…

Ms Z saw Mr E crying, came to stand beside him, and mimic his every single movement, the mimicry, the bending of the body, the rubbing of the eyes, letting out a little cheeky smile :P

That was really a candid and THE moment to capture.  My helper and I have to turn our head away from the sad Mr E to hide our laughter!!!

On another note, I do notice the duo are playing nicely with each other a lot more than it used to be.  Of course they still fight A LOT, which I think is inevitable.  But being there to help them get along and seeing the fruit of the efforts certainly makes me feel rewarded.
